The new Samsung P2 is the newest challenger to iPod, specifically iPod Touch. With a ticket price of $200 or $250, you can get 8 or 16 gigabytes of storage. They have even "one-upped" Apple, by adding an FM tuner and Bluetooth capabilities of up to 30 feet.
The Samsung P2 has a 3-inch widescreen touch panel that reproduces videos and images similarly to the iPod Touch. Samsung has lined up partners for downloadable content, including Rhapsody and Napster for music and CinemaNow for movies. The partnerships are deemed, "MPFreedom".
The size of the P2 is approximately 2 by 4 inches and the weight is just over 3 ounces. The battery is rechargeable with up to 35 hours of audio life and 5 hours of video.
