Most likely you have seen one of the dozens of Apple commercials for their various popular products. If you haven't, you must be living in the stone age. Did you ever think about how much money they are actually spending on those ad campaigns? Well, we did a little digging and found out.

Apple has spent nearly $1.3 billion dollars in the past 3 years. Almost half of that was spent in 2008 alone ($468 million). Microsoft has only spent $300 million to pump up their products. Do you think that's enough? Do tell.

Yahoo is done deciding whether to accept the Microsoft bid of $44.6 billion dollars. Apparently, they would rather explore other options with AOL, Google and Disney. This could possibly send Yahoo shares plummeting; over the past two weeks a lot of investers have had quick sales of stock, as opposed to long-term investing.

Ironfire Capital, an investment firm, plans on encouraging Yahoo to accept the bid, rather than reject it. They are the same firm who helped get rid of former CEO of Yahoo, Terry Semel. They seem equally disappointed with current CEO, Jerry Yang.

Eric Jackson, Ironfire President said, "He runs it as if it's a private company, taking slow, incremental steps. He doesn't realize his approach is what lost the confidence of Wall Street and put Yahoo in play."
